Overview

ZoneBlockX is a professional-grade supply and demand zone indicator for MetaTrader 5, built on the concept of Order Block detection. It automatically identifies high-probability reversal areas on the chart by locating institutional-style price zones where significant buying or selling activity has previously occurred. Designed for traders who rely on price action and market structure, ZoneBlockX provides a structured and objective view of active zones across any symbol and timeframe.

How It Works

ZoneBlockX scans historical price data to detect two types of zones:

Bull Zones (Demand) A Bull Zone is identified from a bearish candle that is immediately followed by a series of bullish confirmation candles that push price above the origin candle's open. This structure indicates that institutional buyers absorbed selling pressure at that level, making it a potential demand area for future price reactions.

Bear Zones (Supply) A Bear Zone is identified from a bullish candle that is immediately followed by bearish confirmation candles driving price below the origin candle's open. This signals that institutional sellers stepped in at that price level, making it a potential supply area for future rejections.

Once detected, each zone is evaluated for mitigation. A zone is considered mitigated (invalidated) when price closes beyond the zone boundary, indicating the level has been consumed. Mitigated zones can be optionally displayed in a faded, dotted style for reference, or hidden entirely to keep the chart clean.

Zone Strength Classification

ZoneBlockX does not treat all zones equally. Each active zone is ranked based on its relative size compared to all other active zones on the chart, using a percentile-based classification system:

• Strong Buy / Strong Sell — Top 34% of zones by size. These are the most significant institutional levels and carry the highest probability of a meaningful price reaction.
• Better Buy / Better Sell — Middle 33% of zones. Solid levels with above-average relevance.
• Buy / Sell — Bottom 33% of zones. Valid zones but with relatively smaller price ranges.

This classification allows traders to prioritize which zones deserve the most attention.

Overlap Filtering

When two zones overlap in price, ZoneBlockX applies an automatic conflict resolution system. If one zone is active and the other is mitigated, the mitigated zone is discarded. If both zones share the same status, the larger zone takes precedence. This ensures the chart displays only the most relevant, non-redundant levels at any given time.

Market Bias Engine

ZoneBlockX includes a built-in bias scoring system. Each zone type contributes a weighted score based on its strength classification. The overall balance of bull and bear scores determines the current market bias, which is displayed as one of three states:

• Bullish — Demand zones significantly outweigh supply zones in strength and count.
• Bearish — Supply zones significantly outweigh demand zones.
• Neutral — No meaningful imbalance detected between the two sides.

Information Panel

A fully integrated on-chart panel displays all key data in real time, organized into four sections:

• Market Info — Symbol, timeframe, current price, server time, and scan range.
• Zone Bias — Current directional bias with a visual bull/bear ratio bar.
• Bull Zones — Count of Strong Buy, Better Buy, and Buy zones, average zone size in points, and the nearest active demand zone range.
• Bear Zones — Count of Strong Sell, Better Sell, and Sell zones, average zone size in points, and the nearest active supply zone range.

The panel position, background color, and text color are fully customizable.
