Let's be honest first.
In trading, the first thing you need is risk management. Not a magic indicator. Not an AI system. Not a holy-grail EA. Just risk management — the boring discipline that keeps you alive long enough to actually learn how to trade. Most traders blow accounts not because their strategy failed, but because risk wasn't enforced at the moment it mattered.
Quick Position Closer is a tool. One-click manual control when you need it, automated Account Guardian protection when you're not watching. It doesn't tell you when to enter. It tells you when to stop — and it actually stops you.
We built this for our own prop firm trading on FTMO and FundedNext. It's now used daily on funded accounts across Gold, indices, and Forex. It works because it doesn't try to predict anything — it enforces the rules you set, every second of every session, without exception.
What makes this different from every other trade panel
Most "trade managers" do one thing — calculate a lot size, or close all positions, or set a trailing stop. You end up running three different panels on the same chart, each doing half the job. Quick Position Closer combines the two functions that actually save accounts: instant manual control and automated multi-layer protection.
- Six one-click action buttons — Close All Positions (with confirmation), Close BUY only, Close SELL only, Close Profit only, Close Loss only, Breakeven All. No more digging through the Trade tab when you need to flatten exposure in 200ms. Optional toggle to also cancel pending orders.
- Seven independent Account Guardian protections — Daily Loss limit, Total Drawdown limit, Daily Profit Target, Trailing Equity Lock, Max Positions count, Max Total Lots, and Schedule Auto-Close. Each one runs independently in background, each one configurable directly from the panel (no recompile, no input window). Each breach can trigger Alert Only, Close All, or Close All + Disable Trading until manual reset.
- Real-time visual progress bars — Daily P&L and Total Drawdown show colored progress bars that go green to amber to red as you approach your limits. You see your danger zone before you reach it. Status banner shows the worst-case percentage at all times so you always know which protection is closest to firing.
- Live account stats panel — Open positions by direction, lots BUY/SELL, win/loss count, total profit, total loss, net P&L, pending orders, unique symbols, manual vs EA positions. Everything updated every 500ms in a compact two-column grid.
- Trailing Equity Lock — One of the most underrated protections in prop trading. Activates when daily gain reaches your threshold (e.g. 5%), then trails a lock at a fixed distance below current equity (e.g. 2%). Lock never moves backwards. The market gives back? You're already out with most of your gain secured.
- Scheduled Auto-Close — Set it once. Every day at the configured time the panel closes everything. Perfect for traders who can't be at the screen at the daily reset time, or who want to guarantee no weekend exposure (configure for Friday 15:00 server time).
- Clean, professional interface — Compact panel that stays out of your way. Drag from titlebar to reposition, position saved between MetaTrader restarts. Minimize to titlebar only while Guardian keeps monitoring in background. Collapsible Guardian Config section so the panel stays small when you're not configuring.
- Push, email and sound notifications — Get notified when any protection fires, even if you're not at the screen. Combine all three or use only one.
Who this is for
- Prop firm traders running FTMO, FundedNext, MyFundedFX, E8, Topstep or The Funded Trader. Configure the firm's daily and total drawdown rules and the panel enforces them automatically. No more disqualifications by $5.
- Day traders and scalpers who hold multiple positions across symbols and need to flatten everything in one click during news, lunch break, or end of session.
- Swing traders who forget to close before the weekend. Schedule Auto-Close handles it.
- Beginner traders learning discipline. Set a daily loss limit and physically cannot exceed it. Remove yourself from the equation.
- EA operators running automated strategies who need a manual override panel always ready in case an EA misbehaves.
How we use it (our daily workflow)
We attach it to one chart on each broker account at the start of the day. Open Guardian Config, set Daily Loss to match the prop firm rule (4.5% for FTMO, 5% for FundedNext, etc.). Set Total DD to the max allowed (8-10%). Enable Schedule Auto-Close at 22:55 server time so nothing carries to the next day. Click APPLY CHANGES. Minimize the panel to titlebar. Trade.
That's it. No spreadsheet. No mental math. No "just one more trade". The panel enforces every rule we set, every second, without emotion.
Risk management and execution decisions remain the trader's responsibility. This tool enforces the rules you configure — it does not generate trading signals or take trading decisions.

Heck yeah i really love this utility. I can set my sl/tp/be points and just do trade & it'll fill the necessary things automatically. Pretty good for a free utility. Though sometimes (quite rarely) i can't execute a trade due to some unknown reason, i.e. i click buy/sell and it's not executing but it's doesn't happen that often.
