I have a different provider and it has a slightly different GMT time. How do I know that the indicator is really set to New York time. There is no time setting in the properties.

Thank you for your question I live in Uzbekistan, Tashkent. My broker is NPBFX. His terminal time is 5 hours different from mine. If now in his terminal 8 hours in the morning, I have already 13:00 in the afternoon and in New York 4 hours in the morning. So he has 4 hours difference with New York. Now look at your zones. They have different times.
