I would like to use my EA in Renko, however the time zone of the generated graphic is different from the correct one for Brazil, where I reside.

could you fix this for me by setting a time zone input parameter?

I would also like to know if there is any correlation between the PIPS of the input parameters and the R-Ticks used to dimension the renko for the dollar index.

And by the way, I intend to use the renko in the dollar index, not in forex currency pairs, it works normally, correct?

Abri o gráfico normalmente e anexei vários EAs nele, no entanto não rodou nenhum deles. Roda EA(Robô) nesse gráfico ou aceita apenas indicadores?

I like your renko generator so much. ı am currently using it on MT4 and I would like to move to MT5 but unfortunately my MT5 crashes as soon as I install your KT Renko Live Chart MT5 version. I love this generator so much that I would like to be able to use it on MT5 too

Hello guys 😊 I have a very profitable strategy that could increase your profitability in trading. If you guys are interested just message me

I have been using KT Renko EA generator for MT5.

I have two questions please with regard to Backtesting.
I create my own EAs by using Third Party applications and everything is working fine in Live Trading. I get my values from two or three different Renko Brick sizes (two or three custom Renko symbols) for each pair. My trading EAs are put on a new one-minute chart and there is no issue.I also use minimum brick sizes of 10 pips or 20 pips. I understand that KT Renko Generator derives the values of a two-minute time frame, not ticks. It is absolutely fine for me as I trade quite big Renko boxes.
However, with backtesting, I have two questions please:

1- Renko Box ID (0) or current:
I have EAs that take the conditions from the current Renko Boxes  (Box ID 0). How reliable is the backtesting in such a case?

2-Renko Box ID (1) Previous Box
I have other EAs that take the conditions from different custom Renko charts per pair. The Box ID is set to 1. Would you say that the backtesting, in this case, is quite accurate?

Generally speaking, I backtest on a standard 1-minute chart (same as I do in Live Trading). The values are taken from generated Renko charts and when met, the trade is executed on the Pair one-minute chart. I also get high quilty tick backtesting (above 90 percent).
I will really appreciate if you shed light on backtesting in the two scenarios I have explained (either ID 0 or ID 1)
Kind Regards,

Hi Mohamed,

1. The backtesting, in this case, is quite reliable.

2. Things become a little bit tricky here. To validate the data reliability from another Renko chart, you may import some OHLC values and manually compare the imported values with the actual values on that Renko chart. If the values match, you can trust your backtesting in this case.

Press F9 on the Renko chart and then if necessary, change the Symbol from the dropdown list.

Try using the symbol name in place of NULL.
For example, if you are trading on EURUSD, it would be like:

trade.Buy(0.1, EURUSD, Ask, (Ask-500*_Point), (Ask+500*_Point), NULL);

Thanks, I tried it, didn't help. I also tried to use _Symbol and got the same error. It happens only on Renko chart. Same command that i use on regular chart successfully opens a position.

Any idea ?

There could be multiple reasons behind this error.
I do not know the functions used in your EA.

You can send the EA to me via private message, I will fix the error.
