Hi, 

I downloaded and back tested this and while I am getting a modelling quality of 99.9%, it doesn't seem to have tested anything because the total net profit is 0.

Please would you be able to advice what I am doing wrong - Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My Set Up.

1. I am doing this on my LIVE account. 

2. I dont have any balance in that account, because I am just testing this. (I have however, entered the 1000 USD as a test deposit amount)

3. I have downloaded 17 years of EURUSD data from dukascopy.

I am sorry that you are having this issue, please try the following:

1) To confirm that it is the EA please try testing some other EA like "MACD sample" in the same account with the same data.

2) Try testing both EA's in another account with native data and see if the problem remains.

3) In the Strategy Tester with the EA loaded click "Expert Properties", then click the "Testing" tab. Next to the dropdown list for "Initial Deposit" change the currency to your Live account's base currency, if it is not already. For example if your account currency is GBP select "GBP" from the dropdown.

4) Try saving the Dukascopy data to another folder, clearing the history data from the terminal, and reconnecting/re-downloading to get your brokerage's history data, then try testing the EA again.
 

You may need a special tool to allow backtesting Dukascopy data in your Live account, two such tools are:

I recommend this for testing. You can get a free trial and then is 10-11 USD per month after. It is widely used and dependable.

*KNOWN BUG IN TRAILING STOP*


The trailing stop feature set by the TSPoints parameter does not work. I will post an update with a fix as soon as possible. Thank you.
