All backtests have variable spreads, 99.90% modelling quality, real commissions, and test with slippage and execution delay also. Top Hat's autolot feature allows you to raise the lotsize while minimizing risk. In the below test Top Hat has the following settings:
original account size = $1000
AutoLotMargin = $100
InitialLot = 0.01
The initial traded lotsize = 1000/100 * 0.01 = 0.1 lot AND if it loses $100 by balance, trading suspends automatically. The below test means the original account balance did not drawdown by even $100! Risk/Reward of 1:400 anyone?
With 100 activations you can try multiple parameter settings. One set like below can make up other losses and more!
