Have you ever tries trailstop and martingale simultaneously ???

I personally prefer EAs whose equity curve doesn’t just shoot straight up like a rocket, but actually trades, takes both wins and losses, and grows steadily over time. In my experience, those systems tend to be more reliable, because the ones with a perfectly vertical curve are often using martingale, grids, or other ultra‑aggressive money‑management tricks that can be very dangerous on a real account.

This EA shows a very impressive backtest: it takes an initial deposit of about $1,000 to roughly $1.4 million in 2025, with a highly volatile but overall rising balance/equity curve and a profit factor of around 1.8. Visually, the backtest is definitely exciting. One major advantage is that it runs on a single chart and manages multiple pairs internally, which makes it much easier to handle in practice.

That said, results with this kind of explosive growth in just one year always require a cautious and realistic view. The stats show that the system has gone through some significant relative drawdowns (around 40% equity drop). However, considering that in this backtest I increased the risk per trade from 1% to about 2.5% to make the results more tangible and visible, and the account experienced such extraordinary growth, a 40% drawdown is largely justifiable and expected. It mainly reflects the more aggressive nature of the position sizing used in this test.

Toward the end of the period, the growth of the account accelerates, which usually means that as the balance increases, the lot sizes also scale up accordingly, taking advantage of the power of compounding. This is done not through martingale, but via a more aggressive yet controlled risk‑management approach.

It’s also important to remember that this backtest covers a specific year, so there is always a chance that part of the outstanding performance is linked to the particular market conditions of that period. That’s why continuing to test the EA on new data and on a real account is the best way to evaluate its long‑term robustness.

Overall, the backtest results so far are very promising and exciting. I’ve moved on to live testing, and I’ll be sharing and updating the results over time to see how this EA performs under real market conditions on a live account.
