About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **MetaQuotes Developer** to lead the development and maintenance of our cutting-edge trading tools on the MT4 and MT5 platforms. This role involves working with complex MQL codebases, crafting intuitive UX/UI designs, and ensuring our expert advisors (EAs) operate at peak performance. If you have a passion for financial markets, a deep understanding of MetaQuotes development, and a knack for problem-solving, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work on disruptive projects within the trading industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Expert Advisor Development & Optimization:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize our existing expert advisor, comprising approximately 30,000 lines of MQL code.
- Ensure the EA is performing optimally, with a focus on risk management, automated strategies, and user-driven enhancements.
- UX/UI Design for MT4/MT5:
- Design and implement intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for our trading tools and applications, ensuring seamless integration with MetaTrader platforms.
- Handle BMP files and create visually compelling designs that enhance user experience and trading efficiency.
- Technical Troubleshooting & Support:
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the expert advisor and other integrated systems, ensuring stability and reliability in all trading conditions.
- Create and manage a GitHub repository for code version control, ensuring a streamlined development process.
- Continuous Learning & Innovation:
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in MetaQuotes platforms, financial markets, and software development.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the product, integrating new features and technologies as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a MetaQuotes Developer with extensive expertise in MQL4 and MQL5 programming languages.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, algorithmic trading, and risk management principles.
- Experience with BMP file handling and developing user-centric UX/UI designs for trading platforms.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MQL4/MQL5 with a solid grasp of MetaTrader architecture.
- Expertise in C++, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Laravel
- Soft Skills:
- Strong (english or dutch) communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead on challenging, disruptive projects.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
