An indicator that repaints is like a trader that changes the numbers of a spreadsheet from negative to positive when they don't like the outcome. If you want to check what an indicator really does, use it on a DEMO account and place a little red or green check at the first indication of the indicator and then a red or green x where the "final" indication is. This will give you the differential of the actual versus the fake history. There are lots of trend indicators that do not repaint.
