Discussion of article "How to Make a Trading Robot in No Time" - page 2

The question about cataloguing, when this very catalogue is already in place, is not quite clear:

If we are talking about additional detailing, then we have a better understanding of the situation.

The existing grouping is sufficient, and a person is stopped solely and only by laziness, but not by the "problem of insufficient structuring". We promote articles and other materials as close to traders as possible:

  1. Articles on the site
  2. Search engine on the site
  3. List of articles in the editor
  4. Cross-cutting search engine in the terminal
  5. Everywhere library of free code as a practical realisation of ideas

On the basis of my extensive experience in preparing mass training, I can assert that there is no reason comparable in importance to laziness.

Who wants to learn, there are no obstacles for him - you should read all the materials 100% indiscriminately.

ps: the site, its structuring and integration is close to ideal, as it was specially created for one purpose - mass training.

Renat:

... a person is stopped solely and only by laziness...

Excuse me, dear Renat, you use that phrase a lot. As a rule, it is appropriate. But in this case, your position prevents you from hearing and listening. If you write that the site was "specially created for one purpose - mass education", then it is you who should not be lazy to repeatedly explain and clarify the same thing. Because there are no stupid and lazy questions, but there is an inability/unwillingness to convey in such a way as to remove a lazy and stupid question.

Renat:

Who wants to learn, there is no barrier to it - one should read all materials 100% indiscriminately.

- and this quote of yours is not applicable in practice at all, because it refers to a few, not to the mass audience.

About cataloguing. Where is "catalogue" in your picture? Cataloguing at the level of "experts", "indicators", "trading systems" is only the top level, which is not enough. Cataloguing should be more dative. The catalogue should reflect the diversity of articles' topics.

We can open any thematic book and see that in addition to a detailed table of contents with a breakdown into chapters, paragraphs, paragraphs, there is also a "subject index", "glossary of terms", etc. etc. If we take a scientific article, then to such an article, in addition to the "announcement" there are also "keywords".

Now there are 18 pages in the "Articles" section. For example, how to use search and your catalogue to get the list of articles, which are recommended for a beginner to read in order to learn how to write indicators by himself. And if you put the question "in what sequence it is better to read these articles" - it is an unsolvable task.

There is a special section on the forum, there is a thread on this topic - What you need to know about indicators.

The forum has a lot and even more than necessary and in excess. The questions are: "how to find it?", "what else is there?", "is there?", "is it worth looking for?".

Or according to Renat's advice "you should read all materials 100% indiscriminately"? That's not enough time to live. How many years is the average life expectancy on financial markets?

It took me 9 months to read all the articles and learn MQL5 quite well. It was divine. )))

I am afraid we have different levels of practical knowledge.

I have spent many years and continue to spend many years promoting mass education. I have accumulated a lot of practical experience and results. Someone else may be fooled, but I no longer have that opportunity.

"Cataloguing", "a list for the beginner" are all topics for young theorists. We've been through those stages a long time ago, having implemented it all.

So it's all on, I'll say it again - it's just a matter of laziness. And yes, read 100% of the material. No whining.

Renat:

I'm afraid we have different levels of practical knowledge.

Then the question of "cataloguing" is dropped.

Hominis est errare, insipientis perseverare.

translate.google is a technology that makes anyone look smart :)

Yes, only "translate.google technology" allows you to read, but not speak :)

The key phrase ". it's all been realised."

So the statement about resistance to beautiful theorising is passé. When people realise reality after several years of practice, they are very surprised at the difference between "seems" and "actually".
