Think there might also be a little bit of bias in there (on the post you are referring to).  Not sure if anyone noticed the name of the poster, and the name shown on the app link shot.  Admittedly, no one else is likely to promote you as much as you yourself.  But Marco is right on with this comment.  British cars for a while as one example, many overpriced, and cost more in maintenance each year than the car is worth sometimes.
