Does logging in as an admin on MT5 require a different application from the standard MT5 platform?

You posted on MT4 section, why ?
Ask your manager.
I swear to you, my manager gave me the credentials, and he does not know how to log in either. That’s why I thought someone here would be able to help me.
As far as I know there is only one Terminal type for MT5.
Are you sure it's for a Terminal (client side) and not for a server side MT5 application ?
Yes, I want to log in as an admin.
This is the account number, and this is the server.

The Administrator terminal executable is mt5admin.exe. Your Administrator ID is often a low number like 1 to 100 or a specific ID created during server set up. FYI, you need your server IP address too, and use your master Administrative password. Your floor manager should have provided Administrative credentials and therefore, know what they are. (source intentionally omitted by me for Forum Rules compliance purposes).

How can I get the mt5admin.exe file?
I work for a prop firm as a customer support representative. Customer issues often require me to access the platform from the administrative side to investigate and resolve problems and determine whether the customer should be compensated or not. That’s why they granted me this access today and gave me these credentials, but I still don’t know how to log in.
Could you please explain it to me privately?

I've helped to the best of my ability here. You really need to get with the gal/guy who maintains your IT infrastructure─someone who has a back channel to the Metaquotes Administrators. I don't even know whether you have the right platform, let alone login credentials.
Okay, thank you very much.

Please, I would like to know: my manager at work gave me MT5 login credentials, but they are for an admin account. I tried logging in through the standard MT5 platform available to everyone, but I received an error message. Can someone please help me?
