IP Address banned, can't open mql5 web site.

Hi there,

I cannot access mql5 web site anymore.

I get the 403 - Forbidden http error, I have to use a vpn or login from another network, it seems my ip address has been banned and I don't know why, my account is not banned and can login as as usual, provided I use a vpn.

I tried contacting the help desk, but the automated system is useless.

Any help is appreciated,

cheers

As I see - your username is not banned.
Banned from the forum is the following: you can see the red banner at the top of every forum page indicating that you was banned untill ....

But it may be fake ban (means: you IP became the banned IP because most of us are having internet with dynamic IP from internet provider.

If it is fake ban by IP so you can do the following:  restart your router together with your computer (switch your router off, and after 1 or 2 minutes - switch it to be on), your IP will be changed from "already banned IP" to the normal one.

And it is the summary post with all the reasons: post

When I visit https://www.mql5.com/ I now get this message: You don't have authorization to view this page. HTTP ERROR 403 It always worked...

You probably did something that was considered spam. It's possible that after a few hours everything will return to normal.

Sergey Golubev's Post #1 is totally on-point. This fix has worked for me in the past. If your router has an adjustable IP address expiration time, set it to 5 minutes, kill the power, and boot it up 6 minutes later.

If you're feverishly hunting for a specific post in the Forum, rapidly clicking through a large number of threads will get you auto-banned.
