5950x PR in Cloud agent is higher than i9 14900k !!

I have 5950x 64gb ddr 4 with pr of 222
and a laptop 255hx 32gb ddr5 with pr of 252
and lately I also got a pc with 14900K 32ddr 4 which the Pr is 179!!!

usually the same process done in 14900k is much faster than 5950x in same local genetic optimization.
multi thread bench of 5950x is around 11k and 14900k is 17k

This has been discussed and argued many times over the years. The main points made by moderators that are still up on threads that have not been deleted include:

efficiency cores are excluded on some cpus and only cores are included now on all cpus. You might be able to add more threads for your local tests by disabling the cloud.

There is also a thread that discusses a registry file that reportedly resets the PR score so that metatester will recalculate your score upon a system reboot. You will have to do this search yourself, as i cant seem to find it again.

Note my 7940HS cpu 128gb ddr5 ram is score of 211. Also Note that I sourced a big thread with same discussion, but deleted the link after i noticed that it was already sourced in the 3rd link below your op post.

Emad Shahbazi:

I know from personal experiences over the years, not just recent years, that disabling all c-power/sleep states makes my pr increase. These are different sleep or power efficiency modes that windows has. and there are only 2 or 3 of these accessable via showable options. To disable these and the rest, you can only disable them via a 3rd party program such as powertoys.

But a big warning here: once you use powertoys or other program to do this, your system may use much more power and produce much more heat, so i recommend that you do not use this hack/tweak on your laptop because enabling these power states may not be possible to re-enable without a system reinstall.

My main problem that i was looking in other forums was with 14900K PR 300 was achieved with ddr 4 ram if i remember correctly,  and i was shocked my PR is 179.

your amount of available memory is a factor in pr score; so if you are using 16gb or more of it with your current programs, then, your score will be affected; however your score will go up and down; at least, this is common.

like i said it is 3rd party program; you wont find it on this site.
