Me too, I am having issues with the Optimizer in MT5.

I am using custom symbol for USDJPY. If I use the normal USDJPY symbol the optimizer works as expected but not when I use a custom symbol.

For some weird reason, the Optimizer stops progressing only when I am using sell orders (short selling) and not on buy orders.

I also downgraded to build 5430 but hasn't improved. It has the same issue...

Not sure what is happening. I am still investigating it. Once I find something I report here.

Such issue with the Tester is not related to the problem with recent beta or release 5572, no need to downgrade.

You can provide all the needed details to reproduce the issue and I will check.

It is currently impossile for me to create a minimal reproducible example but I will try.

On the current build 5572 I discovered that the optimizer fails to continue after giving these messages on the log.

I would appreciate it if you have even the slightest idea of what it could be. This occurs only on Optimizer. When I test it manually on the tester, the algo works perfectly without any issue.
