thx guys for your input. parallels I have already but prefer a native solution but it seems with the current version of MT5 dont work stable. but iam sure they get it. like I said it works perfectly for ca. 1,5h and than MT5 needs to long for an information. is there a way to get older versions from MT5?
MT5 for macOS is not a native solution. It is a Windows application wrapped in an emulator/virtualiser, and packaged by the installer. There is no native macOS MetaTrader application currently available.
thx @Fernando Carreiro
yes I know, MT5 is "running" with Wine
@sergey El
at the moment I have the trouble with Wine 10.0 using a Win10 bottle (created by myself) and Win7 bottle (finish bottle by CrossOver). But I recognized in the Journal that both Bottles (Win10 and Win7) dont show the windows version I assigned but Win Server 2008 R2, like in the screenshot. My Idea was more to try Wine 9 but I hesitate at the moment because every bottle cost me a license from indicators from mql5 market
puh, now I have no idea what you saying, sry :D Webview2? EdgeWebView2? 109.0.x?

"Microsoft Edge WebView2" is an web-chrome API that MetaTrader 5 uses for displaying the Trading Report and other web based data. So, for MetaTrader to function properly, that component is required.
It either gets installed automatically by the package supplied by MetaQuotes, or if that fails, you have to install it manual yourself.
However, "Microsoft Edge WebView2" also has minimum requirements, which affects which Wine version or setup is required for everything to work properly.
More than this I am unable to answer, because I don't use Wine nor MacOS.

Hello, hope I find here a solution for my problem. I use MT5 on macOS 15.7 on a MacBook Air and get from time to time pink screen. I get this crashes with the Mac version from official metatrader5.com website and using CodeWeavers crossover. the crash report says

says its MT5. Would be great when the developer can have a look on it. I asked AI for the crash report and it says that a CPU has too long to wait for some information from MT5. Other Software runs great with CrossOver. The crashes occur after a while, ca 1,5h. After the crash it's again OK for ca. 1,5h than crash. maybe this information is helpful. Does anybody else face that problem?
