For stability use Windows via Parallels.

I am surprised by this answer from you (while I know it's correct). MetaQuotes is working on MT5 to make it works through Wine, they invested time on that. Should we understand it's not worth to report issue about it ?

Reporting issues is still important, as they help improve the Wine version.

My mention of Parallels was only meant as a workaround for users who need maximum stability right now, not as a dismissal of Wine development.

@Miguel Angel Vico Alba

thx

@Alain Verleyen

thats a great Information, that they are working on it, maybe that crash report can help them. yesterday I made the MT5 update and was running the terminal the whole day with wine without a crash, but will see how it goes tomorrow when market is open. I will give an update

get again a crash yesterday, think we have to wait till MetaQuotes give an announcement

I guess I found the Problem, but not 100% sure and possibly the broker has also an effect. I think the crashes appearing when MT5 is running on macOS and positions gets manually opened/closed or limit orders are manually set/modified on the MT5 phone app (iOS in my case). I guess there is a problem than with syncing. Also possible that the phone and MacBook were connected to different wifi's. cant remember.
