Sounds like an issue last month where those in much of europe couldnt connect to mq servers. And it has happened a few times in the past. Each time it repaired itself in day or 2. good luck to you.
Before i used smoothly mql5 website into my vps but from last 2 days I can't access mql5 website and I can't login any of my MT5 broker account on MT5 terminal, please find below the attachment
check your HOSTs file in windows system32/drivers that mql is not being blocked by windows.
and then search this site that your vps provider is not blocked. There are some vps providers that are actively being blocked.

I can't access mql5 website
It depends on this error number ... for example, there is one blog post with all possible reasons described -
and it is about "host file issue" -

My vps provider said that may be mql5 broker ban me, this may be happened?
that is very possible, but check the 2 things that i mentioned, and/or read the thread posted by the moderator for further ideas.
Sometimes it is just a corrupted installation of mt5 and when mt5 is uninstalled and then installed again, the issue is gone away.
Unless you try 1 at at time, you are only making guesses as to cause; and there are several possible reasons for your issue.

I used same vps from last 1 year and not upgraded any plan, before i used smoothly but now when i tried to login a another MT5 broker account into the MT5 terminal then the broker list not found and i uninstalled the MT5 and reinstall again but same issues after that when i checked my Web browser to visit mql5 page then it's shown 'Access Denied ' not authorised to visit mql5 page, this means mql5 banned me or restricted me or what is the problems, my vps not changed anything, i used same vps
search this website with the name of your vps provider. They may be recently added to block list.
Also, some vps providers give you a dynamic ip address. This means that the ip address will change when you restart your vps -- and your new ip address maybe blocked. You should ensure that you have a static ip address when you sign up for a vps. Most vps providers include this in your vps plan, but some providers require an extra fee for a static address. You should check this by contacting your vps provider.

hello.
yesterday while being logged in with mt5 desktop app i lost connection randomly. and can't reconnect since getting "connection to name-server lost". everything else on the system works, so it's not internet failing per ce.
i get the same issue on another system on the same internet connection (wifi vs cabel). however, if i switch the isp (troubleshooting with mobile data actually) it seems to connect (i'm not 100% sure, i get the ok sound immediately, but nothing else loads, but maybe the connection is too slow, idk - anyway, it sure does behave differently).
the thing is that on my main pc/isp combo i can connect to every other service and server from my broker including mt5 webversion. so it's not entirely pc-to-server connection problem - i can connect to the server through browser, but not through mt application.
i've had this or very similar issue before, but it'd had resolved itself on its own in an hour or so. i'm not expecting any meaningful help from the broker, so what do i do now, how can i diagnose the issue further?
upd: interestingly enough the autogenerated link to a similar topic here shows similar issue with the same broker, even though it happened quite some time ago. and there was no general common sense solution. so may be it's a broker issue, i'll need to wait for them answering.
upd2: upon further inspection i can say that most other servers give me auth failed message, one showed me no connection and one (not from my broker) showed the same connection lost message. while numerous servers from my own broker all return the same. so highly likely it's a broker issue and much less likely it's some kind of non-local routing issue.
