I think every strategy ever created in this world works.... the point is to appoint that strategy to a suitable asset class, risk management and trading sessions... you gotta harmonize the strategy that works best for the pair in the best environment possible.

Right now I’m mainly trading XAUUSD with automated breakout strategies.
I try to keep things simple, controlled drawdown, and fixed risk settings depending on the account size. I’m more interested in consistency and risk control than very aggressive returns.
I still compare live results with backtests because that’s where you really see if a strategy is solid or just over-optimized.
