thanks for reply , i am not looking to edit the source code , i am looking to develop my own with help of developer that i can voice chat with to speed up the specification phase cause i am in a jam due to positions left unmanaged as result of bugs in current EA.
I Also stated in previous message that developer usually responds within hours, this time around i have not heard from him for over 2wweeks when i first contact him about this issue, and am still loosing money due to the problem.
I am also an mql5 developer, but for this project i am looking for developer to assist with this current jam by focusing the development on recovery from current situation.

I understand, but you can't do that here and like that.
Go to the Freelance section, post your requirements as a job and I am sure that many developers will react to your project.

I have had some good experience using freelance developers for simple , but when it comes to more complex EA i find it impossible to attempt to process this job via frreelance due to more verbose specification that would almost be a nightmare to nail down in chat only system.
If there is a way to enable voice communication in freelance , that would be my best option .
To add to the complexity , i would need the developer to work on the EA in a way to assist in recovery from a buggy EA that i got from the market , the buggy EA is loosing data, and leaving my positions unmanaged, i have sent message to developer i have not heard from him in almost 2weeks , and i have psotions on sevral mt5 terminals that are in danger as a result.
this is the EA thats giving me issues <name removed>.
my current suspicion is that soon as an order goes from pending to active, the EA looses data and no longer properly manages the position.
SO i am left with no choice but an emergency attempt to developer my own EA which is a much cut down version of what i currently use, i only use some of the functions not all, so should not be as big a job
but i will be looking for far more robustness and fewer functions.
As far as my experience as been with market EA, this things are there to manage money, but in some cases its not been tested responsibly enough for something to risk money on .
This is the second time i am loosing money cause of this EA, cause i worked with the dev as the EA grew, and previous issue was with global variables and data getting lost after 1month, which was resolved after he switched to using files/folder only .
I hope the developer is ok cause he usually respond quickie to fix issues even though he grumbles , but this time i not heard from him for 2 weeks , i thought i fixed the issue since then, and today i just found out its still loosing data and my funds as a result.
Looking for developer to assist with this urgently , would help if you can direct me to some work you have in the market as some proof of previous work cause i need someone well experienced enough to fix this problem before i l loose too much money.

Can't you close the positions remove the EA and then look into its correction or development?

that would be a disaster, these are many positions on several terminals that are not in anyway requiring me to close them at a loss, or run off with meagre profits, they are long term positions.
the only problem here is the EA, and the new EA will take over management of existing positions using thier ticket numbers.
It would be beneficial to all if metaquote will introduce some system that would encourage developers to test products that are used to manage money.

Sure but the odds of finding someone who will quickly understand what you need and quickly deliver it and it wont require many fixes and updates or the coder of the EA returning
and trying to fix these bugs are low.
You could be looking at a senario here where the future you wishes they could come back to today to close them.

For any developers interested i would eventually like a full fleshed trade manager, but i want to focus for now on order trailing and trailing stop.
A simple EA to which i pass ticket number and it will move entry and stop loss according to percentage of price.
I will use my existing buggy ea to open orders etc , and the new EA will for now just handle entry and stop loss movement.
