Well, first of all, I’m sorry that your experience in the Freelance market has been so negative. Moving on, I am a professional developer in MQL4 and MQL5. I work in the MetaQuotes Freelance market as well as on the Upwork platform, and I believe I have enough experience to offer you some tips.
First, use common sense when setting the minimum price you’re suggesting to pay the developers. If you know that your project is complex and will require many lines of code, a lot of work done and many hours spent, setting a very low price will drive away serious and competent developers, leaving room for people who are not professionals and just want to make adventures with your money. Likewise, check how professional the developer really is during the initial conversations in the chat, even before you start hiring. For example, you can ask the freelancer to send you demo versions of Expert Advisors or Indicators they’ve produced that are similar to the project you want to create. This way, you’ll know in advance if they’re trying to deceive you or if they truly have the skills.
Finally, if you want an extra layer of security, you can require them to sign some kind of confidentiality agreement to ensure they don’t disclose the documents or information you’ve shared with them. I’ve personally signed three such documents when clients requested them from me.
The cost of development depends on the amount of time that needs to be spent (for most adequate developers). The programmer must indicate the cost of the work in his application. If you have not published the full technical task in your order, then obviously at the time of submitting the application the programmer cannot say the cost, because he does not know what exactly needs to be done and how much time it will take.
If you do not publish a complete technical specification that would be available to all programmers before they submit an application, then do not pay any attention to the price that the programmer indicated in the application.
Imagine calling your dentist and asking how much it will cost to fix your teeth, without giving any information about what exactly needs to be done. Or you can just say "I have a toothache", which also won't give any information. The dentist will not be able to tell you the cost of the work until he looks at your teeth and listens to your complaints. The treatment may take half an hour or may extend over several visits.

HI, my price was 60 for 1 or 2 max hour of work ,, remove zero divide problem and make 1 formula update of one of my already finished expert
that's not the price problem but it's a constant strategy within freelance
they are the ones who initially propose a low price, even if you do work for 60 I wanted to ask to have a 3 day trial and then increase if their prototype works
I'm saying there is a lot of rot in freelance and that they specifically know they are unpunished because they will never take on the job, so no responsibility ,, take everything and run away
,, this is a fantastic strategy nowadays and the customer can't do anything .,, precisely because the job will never ever be taken
and continuously asks questions
This most likely indicates that the amount of work is unknown. If the task had been clear at the time of submitting the application, there would not have been a large number of questions.
But I don't know about all freelancers. Perhaps there really are perverts here who are submitting applications to steal the strategy. But it's hard for me to imagine such a person.
However, I think there is very little chance that someone will steal your strategy and implement it for themselves.

This will not happen if you select an experienced developer with hundreds of thousands of finished jobs and a high rating.
Do not go for the cheaper and inexperienced coders, you will lose time and money.
