No, because if it were the case, then it would not reset after the terminal restarted.
No, it adjusts proportionality to the window size, based on internal (executable file) hardcoded references.
Oh okay then, thank you. I actually have a (kind of a) solution. I've placed the Navigator window to the left of the Toolbox window which shrinks the columns in the Toolbox window.
But because I close the Navigator window, I'll do the following every time MT5 re-opens after an update (if you keep the Navigator window open, you don't have to do the following):
• I first click on the Toolbox window and press “A” to activate (Auto Arrange).
• I then press Control+N to show the Navigator window (which should now open on the left side of the Toolbox window).
• I then drag the border between the Navigator window and the Toolbox window to the right, to achieve my desired Toolbox columns size.
At this point you're done. But if you want to then close the Navigator window, the columns in the Toolbox window will resize again. So the following should be done if you want to close the Navigator window:
• I then click on the Toolbox window, and press “A” again to deactivate (Auto Arrange).
• At this point you can press Control+N to close the Navigator window.
• Then since (Auto Arrange) is off, you can drag all the columns (except Symbol) to the right, in one move, instead of one by one.
