Resolved: As per the source code, you can see that there was no 'Else' statement to catch any other possibility of a different outcome, by adding the Else statement, I was able to identify where the issue was arising.

Good day,
I am experiencing an issue with the stability of my EA/ EA's.
It appears to become Unresponsive after X amount of time being attached to the chart. By unresponsive I mean that the EA has been left to run on its own, without interference, and after X amount of hours I am still connected to the internet, the new incoming tick data is still flowing in, the EA is still attached to the chart, although the EA just stops doing what ever it was coded to do.
I have then coded an EA specifically to test the issue at hand. The EA prints the date, candle number and candle count after the formation of a new candle. The exact same issue still persists: the EA becomes inactive after X amount of time.
I have tested the EA on multiple currency pairs (EURUSD, GBPUSD) and on Crypto as well (XRPUSD, ETHUSD).
Regardless of the pair being traded, the EA generally becomes unresponsive after 5 - 12 hours with the FX currency pairs And 6 - 48 hours on Crypto pairs. I have run the EA multiple times on the before mentioned Pairs, with the issue arising at different times each time I test.
I have tested the EA multiple times on my local machine (Windows Mini PC) and on my VPS (Linux). On both machines I get the same result.
I have tested more than 15 times across both devices, and don't see any consistency on when the EA becomes unresponsive.
After checking the journal logs, I can confirm its not due to a loss of connection, because even if the connection is lost and then restored, the EA is able to continue working as intended - So its not due to the loss of connection that irregularly occurs in the journals tab.
More details Below:
Timeframe: M1
Broker: RoboForex
AccountType: Cent account
I have attached:
-source code
-screenshot of the journal tab
-screenshot and the expert tab
Is someone able to advise what the issue may be, or what I could possibly test for next? I am running out of ideas.
Kind regards
Thabit
