Clear instructions on how to get setup gmail email in MQL5 needed

I’ve seen a number of posts on setting up email here but none of them seems to give clear guidelines on the process. I am not sure exactly what each field in Options>Email should contain and how a simple email should be composed programmatically.

I would really appreciate some help.

Of course you are wrong. That's funny to see how people are saying me I am dreaming or I don't know what I am talking about when they are wrong

1° You have to configure gmail/gmx to allow external application.

2° Configure your MT4


And by the way it was ALWAYS working (except maybe on some build for a short time).

Do I need to be logged into MQL5 community for this to work? Also is the SMTP Password suppose to be my gmail password?

No.

No. For gmail it's more complicated as a 2 steps verification is now mandatory. See this post with a video explaining how to do.
