Step by step for guide setting up signal in real account

I attempted to log in under a real account and the signal tab as well as the graphs and data disappeared.  Are there only paid signals for real accounts and do you have to pay to use MT4 or 5?  Just wondering if there was a step by step with troubleshooting guide and contact info for US users because the Help index is literally no help. Thanks!

Yes, real accounts can only subscribe to paid signals.

MetaTrader (be it 4 or 5) itself is free. You don't pay for the application itself.

Did you read the Rules for copy trading in MetaTrader 4 and 5 - the Trading Signals service?

• III.12. Signals based on real accounts are available only by paid Subscription; signals based on demo accounts can be received only by free Subscription.
  
• IV. 2. Real accounts cannot be subscribed to Signals based on demo ones. Any Signals created on trade accounts with a leverage exceeding 1:500 are not available for subscription.
