Templates in Freelancing: how to communicate with a customer and not go crazy

The new version of Freelance is on its way, there's not much left to do. We've rewritten the entire interface to make the whole process more user-friendly and intuitive.

Ideally, Freelance should be such that it is pleasant and convenient for both the customer and the contractor to communicate. The main problem in all cases where two or more people are involved is mutual understanding. Here, in a marketplace where programmers and traders meet, there is a natural misalignment. While developers know not only trading concepts and programming, but also all the nuances of debugging and testing of trading robots, customers, more often than not, only know the terminal and a bit about the tester.

And when the developer transfers the program to the customer, the latter quite often finds some errors in its operation. Or the program simply does not work the way he expects. Generally, the customer has some questions for the contractor. To solve these problems, it is necessary to ask the customer for a description of the situation and log files, as a rule. And if a developer knows very well what is there and what exactly needs to be presented, the customer often has no idea about it.

And so the developer has to explain for the N-th time in pictures and text where everything is and what to push in the client terminal to get the necessary file or to make the necessary setting. Of course, experienced developers already have ready-made templates, which they paste into the Jobs branch. But this also takes time - if only to insert a picture.

And now there is an idea - to develop a generic template for Artists, which will be ready to be inserted directly from the editor in a couple of clicks (and a picture needed to be inserted), for example, "where are logs of tester". Or "how to save a set-file". And so on. In general, I'd like to hear how much demand for this functionality would be among Freelance developers. And what questions our customers have the most frequently, to make answer templates for them.

We will collect the templates together, into one list. The website developers will pour them into the editor. And every contractor (and customers too) will be able to use them.

    Personal templates are not offered.

Yes. How to top up the balance on the website.

Regarding the marketplace, I've been asked 5-6 times how to install the product I bought in the marketplace. Each time I have to explain everything point by point.
