When doctors were allowed to practise at home, there were all sorts of suggestions in the press, including acupuncture. So I decided to give up smoking. Well... whatever you like, I can't quit on my own... I called one advertisement, asked about price and probability. Not even a guarantee, just the likelihood that it would help.
Here's the deal: 1 session costs 20 rubles, all subsequent sessions cost 10 rubles each. On the average, I quit after 3 sessions and it depended on my desire.
Cigarettes cost 50 kopecks at the time, the arithmetic is simple, 1 pack a day for a month comes to 15 rubles. So I figured: if I need 2 sessions, I'll spend 30 rubles and if I don't smoke for 2 months, I won't lose anything. Well, at the very least, I'll survive such a loss...
Under the conditions, 24 hours before that, no smoking. I tried, it didn't work, I call and let you know I can't. What to do? The answer is, well, as long as you can. The main thing is not to smoke before the session.
Oh... How I wanted to smoke half an hour after the session... I'm smoking, but the urge doesn't go away. Like air... Well, I think I'll get to the phone and I'll tell you what I think of you... Thank God he wasn't home. In the evening, with a cigarette in my hand, I suddenly caught myself thinking that the problem was gone. I put the butt down and forgot about cigarettes for 4 days. After these 4 days I went for a second session and that was the end of it. Now I can smoke with a friend and nothing bothers me again.
Now that's a doctor already a professor.
Nearly 15 years ago I got addicted to nlp and so on and so forth. My friend appeared at the door, eyes glowing: there is a good theme (the idea was that I should get away from "very important" matters and rewrite a collection of such crap). I have "swam" twice, when I was watching a recording of a lecture by a professor and 15 years later I sat aside during a session of alco-psycho/drugs, I analyzed what he was telling the patient, everything was primitive and clumsy and I was disappointed. After 10 minutes I lose interest in the doctor and I am distracted by the one-time drug tests and I begin to swim. The point of all these methods is to distract the attention of the patient and fuck up the patient's brain, and whether the doctor or the cleaning lady will do it is not important, the main thing is the scheme. The (non)smoking reflex is either a result of circumstances (nicotine is a mild psychostimulant) or the physiology of the smoking habit.
The problem is gone as long as the brain physiologically sees that smoking is the only option left that is the easiest to reach - and everything will want to smoke. No amount of psychology/psychotherapy or moral norms can defeat the brain's reflection on its depletion, pleasure and replication.
I don't understand addicts. I don't understand addicts.) I've tried a lot of things (cigarettes, hookahs, e-cigarettes, weed). I tried cigarettes, hookahs, e-cigarettes and weed just for myself to get an idea what it is. It's just not interesting. Quit smoking, make better porridge and eat it in good health))))
- it gives motivation.

Apparently that "pro-professor" was expressing his thoughts exactly as you are retelling them... I don't know what you meant by "The essence of all these methods ..." but you've been led deep and long ...
Yuri Konstantinovich, this doctor, explained this effect so: The human body is constantly allocated different necessary substances in certain quantities. And when a person begins to smoke, in his lungs settled nicotine oxidizes and replaces one of the necessary substances, he even called it, but it is difficult to remember. As a result, the body reduces the release of this substance and finally stops releasing it at all. This is where addiction comes in. The body needs it, but it does not secrete it; the glands that produce this substance are atrophied. The purpose of acupuncture is to "wake up" these glands and make them work.
And another important point, Yuri Konstantinovich at the time was only an assistant professor. He is now a professor.

Alexey Viktorov, you have just named the elements of tedium. And I should note that nicotine does not oxidize, it oxidizes. What glands we will wake up?)
Alexey Viktorov, you have just named the elements of tarnishment. And let me point out that nicotine does not oxidize, it oxidizes. Which glands are you going to wake up?)
Stop being clever and pretending to be a prochyessor. That's what I wrote, "oxidizes." And don't ask me to elaborate or ask me anything, I'm just retelling what an experienced, conscientious, respected doctor told me.
Where's a flat like this for $2,500?
Hello! Can you tell me why I can't download free EAs and indicators? It says "Do I have a terminal?" I press yes - and that's the end of it, no download. ??
P.S. I can't trust my nicotine deposit for 9 years)))
