I decided to whip up a simple Expert Advisor, just to show how the Donald-Natanson system works in equal conditions, for the same period with the same initial lot 1.00 ... changing only the rate increase/decrease the lot
1. pair EURUSD
2. direction always buy
3. sl and tp = 200p.
4. default: initial lot 1.00
here are pics of the system's run over the same period (one year) with different lot change rates
this is what the tester run looks like without using the system with a fixed rate of 1 lot:

with lot change rate 0.05

notice that the charts are very similar..but if you compare the first chart with fixed lot and the last one with dynamic 0.1 you can see that initially loss-making period became profitable, of course also with increased risk.....
Couldn't you just explain the whole system in one sentence - if the last trade is losing, the next lot is increasing by a certain value, if the last trade is profitable - the next lot is decreasing by a certain value.

Donald Nathanson - same thing, no advantage, zero expectation, just got a bit more variance. I'm too lazy to attach the results.
Conclusion - martingale gives no advantage in any form. It can be used to prolong the pleasure for a longer period of time but it will not make you money. You can also draw a nice graph with the balance line going upwards and that is probably the end of all its useful features.
