Integer:

What are you talking about? Could you speak more clearly?

Yes, if elementary questions are scattered in separate topics, the forum will simply swell. Let them all be placed in one topic. There these questions and gurus look through, and if anything, you can ask.

Swollen forum how? Do you know what you're talking about? In fact, who are you? A moderator, an administrator? Who? Who, to dispose how forum participants to use the forum?

Suppose "swell" the forum and what? Swell and crush someone? What is the problem?

Integer:

A swollen forum is what? Do you know what you're talking about? And anyway, who are you? A moderator, an administrator? Who? Who, to direct how forum members use the forum?

Why create a new thread if you ask something and it takes one or two answers to make it clear? I'm not a moderator or an administrator. But I don't want to search for a topic I am interested in among hundreds of new ones.

So what if you do not know how to work with information? You need to learn, or get medical treatment. An Internet forum is first and foremost a place for communication, not someone's personal guide.

On your computer, do you just put files on, say, the D drive? Or do you put them in folders? There has to be some sort of arrangement.

Ow! *We're talking about an internet forum, not a personal computer. You can arrange everything on your own computer however you like, you can even zigzag or snake your files.

As for lumping everything into one folder, you seem to be the advocates of lumping everything into one folder.

What happens when there are new topics? Does your heart beat faster? Do your palms get sweaty? Or what or how? If someone is so burdensome with information, why go online at all?

Integer:

Ow! *waved his palm in front of his eyes* We're talking about an internet forum now, not a personal computer.

I for one, for the sake of analogy. Nobody forbids creating new threads. But you have to think about topics that are of little interest to the majority not to appear in the threads. This is primarily to the authors.

Chief's itch to be bossy?

Just in case, I'll say it again:

Guys who ask questions here, don't forget that you have every right to create your own threads (topics) on the forum, not crowd into one thread.

And don't forget that flooding topics is also flooding.

Is the boss's itch getting the better of you?
Dimitri, as a super-specialist in all fields of knowledge, you should know that normal people tend to organize themselves. Normal people don't need bosses, moderators and you. Normal people have their own moderator in their head.
