Which days of the week are good for trading - page 6

FAGOTT:

Focus:

1. no one is interested in the performance of your unknown TS

2. no one is interested in different volatility indicators.

3. the man has a specific TS. He found the following statistics more than 70% of losing trades are on Friday. And he asks - what is the explanation?

The person has accumulated the statistics for a particular TS, and you said - it can not be, because my TS does not have these characteristics. What gives the difference h-l? It gives us nothing.

Listen here carefully. It's not the performance of the TS.

These are statistics of Friday's closes on the Eurobucks. Towards and against the week.

According to her. Friday closes on the direction of the week 50% of the time. And 50% against.

So Friday's close is a good idea, but statistics are stubborn things.

moskitman:

yeah, i wonder... I'm sure there'll be some "action" on Thursday
The NZD hasn't been this far away from home since the JPY crisis and the Yen is in a tough bidding hand in hand with the Chip. The conclusion? correct, there will be action!

Spit it out!!! How did you know it would be Thursday? Why not Friday or Wednesday?

Delighted ))))

A lot of smart people have stopped trading on Friday and that's why activity has shifted to Wednesday Thursday.

Yeah, that's right. And Friday is everybody's day off.

So the idea of closing Friday is certainly a good one, but statistics are stubborn things.

What does this have to do with you and statistics?

Decipher - how many Fridays have you analysed? What do you mean "Friday's close"? Towards and against the week - how is that?

To write a few numbers and say you analysed it is not statistics.

FAGOTT:

That's right. And Friday is everybody's day off.
Friday has become an ordinary day, and before that everything (drains) happened on Friday. The banks are after your thousand quid - you think they are interested in trading with each other, but you have stopped trading on Fridays (Friday is profit taking day - another duck from them).

I've already written - conspiracy theories, forex directors, ogre banks etc. it's not up to me. Profit taking on Friday is not two suckers in Bobruisk closing their positions with $238. USD.

Although there is something enchanting - night, rain, the evil and insidious Citibank in decaying America hunting for the deposit of a thousand dollars of honest and naive Seva Lapochkin from Bobruisk........

what a conspiracy! - They're just skimming the suckers as best they can.

Of course not! City Bank is fighting Gold Bank (to the death), and Seva is building a depot under it.

For example, one week - trend up, on the 25th we took a profit, and on Monday we won back that fixation

I am not going to argue, but just in case - you know that no deposits of USD 1,000 cannot be withdrawn to Forex, right? You do realise that the price in your terminal reflects the chopping of players of quite a different nature, don't you?
