YOU SHOULDN'T BE CORRECTING SOMEONE ELSE'S SPELLING... I SHOULD HAVE WRITTEN IT MYSELF... PROPERLY.... ORIGINALLY I WANTED TO PUT THREE Y'S IN IT
Interesting trend, with a twist: the right to choose the spelling of a topic title is reserved exclusively for the topic originator. Well, it'll be more fun, our forum is quite unconventional in its concentration of originals...
Live and learn.
From Peter the Great "I decree to gentlemen senators that they should not speak according to the written word, but in their own words, so that everyone's stupidity can be seen.
To paraphrase, it's something like - "Don't correct mistakes to moderators, don't correct style, so that everyone's stupidity can be seen.)

I don't think it's right to remove lots, shares, etc. and leave a single "glass" lot.
Different types of EAs need different features.
In the one I'm working on now, the lot is more convenient like MT5, but in other developments it's different.
So, it would be nice to leave some options...
That is, you need to expand the options, not diminish them! Both in general life and in MT.
In Mt4 lock/dolly is convenient, because stops remain, in Mt5 they must be "remembered" in a special way, this is an unnecessary complication for traders.
In general metaquotes are more for brokers and programmers than for traders.
Where:
The programmer is someone who writes programs with pleasure, but does not earn on Forex.
The trader is he, who writes programs out of necessity (and some do not write them at all).
"MT5 lot - saving broker's resources + additional possibility for programmers to earn money, to the detriment of the trader.
There are 24 hours in a day, the human attention span (while in physical body) is 5+/-2 objects.
Therefore, the more problems the programming language causes, the less time/attention is given to the trading system itself, the less effective the MTS is, and the worse the results are. And brokers live off traders... so do the meta-quotes...
