The challenge has a pretty little thing in the stash. I found a (sort of) 12-question option for 31 cards. See:
The first 6 questions standardly clarify the product of the first 18 cards.
Then the trick. Finding out:
19*20*31 = x1
21*22*31 = x2
23*24*31 = x3
25*26*31 = x4
27*28*31 = x5
29*30*31 = x6
The product of x1*x2*x3*x4*x5*x6 multiplied by the product of the first eighteen = a total of twelve.
Is that right?

And here we go: the first eight questions are the product of 24 numbers. That leaves 25 to 31. Similarly, according to your methodology:

Multiply this and you get 25*26*27*28*29*30*31^3 = 25*26*27*28*29*30*31.
