News: 5th digit in quotes

The "happy" news caught on in the morning:

As of 26 January 2009 you can test trading tactics using the 5th digiton alpari.demo accounts.

If you have open positions, they will be adjusted to reflect the new format.

The introduction of the 5th digit on real alpari.classic and alpari.micro accounts is planned
from February 9th 2009
.

I wonder what happens to the real accounts of other DCs ...

Why happy?

Fi...

Personal attitude to the five-figure is dramatically NEGATIVE !

( topic previously )

Simply put, one customer.

But thank God mine have not yet reached this addiction.

*

But if they do... well, what are you gonna do... I'm gonna have to learn to use a non-MT office,

...but with a familiar and convenient order of quotes...

The fifth sign doesn't make much difference. It's more of a habit. But habits change. It is enough (in most cases) to add one zero at the end.

This will be a problem for incorrectly made EAs, but it will be mostly for custom and purchased EAs. If there is no possibility to set stops and slippage, we will have to redo them.

Although, many brokerage companies have already had such a feature. The possibility to check the correctness of their work was earlier.

So, there is no problem.

So there is no problem.

It's too early to tell if there are problems or if it's that simple. For example, when I closed a trade on the demo in the morning I got 4 requotes due to price change in the 5th digit, and it's also early in the morning and quotes are not running so fast. So let's wait for the European and American session and describe the problems of the 5th digit.

The 5th sign, that's good. That's very good. It means the DC has started to quote more accurately.

Yeah... six digits even better... seven digits... eight for now...

but not for long, with 64-bit being introduced everywhere and 32-bit systems dying out

we'll all move to... how long can it be? ;))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

I think the whole point is to smooth out tick lots flow - at least stops with profits move from the 4th digit anyway, so the benefit is zero, rather a detriment ... for scalpers )

It's no big deal. In FxPro since last summer the fifth sign has been working, on usdjpy the third sign. This topic has been discussed many times on the forum. At first, it's not familiar.

does not change anything))
1. if the price Point remains unchanged,
2. if the variable "points" (calculated by Price/Point), has been set to double, and if not - knowing the tricks of MQL-4 we have to test,
3. for example, if Point = as before old, a quote +1, then spread is now double, and who has int - let him check.

No way... perverse...

By the way, a flickering error has popped up...

(there's supposed to be a 51-5=46 difference)

Although it may be because of my clumsiness.
