Mathemat:

khorosh, stop playing righteous anger. It had nothing to do with ordinary Russians. It was the policy of the upper echelons, not the character of the people themselves, who are culturally closer to Europe than to Asia or the Middle East. Yes, there are oddities, but what people don't have them?

I can understand your ultra-patriotism. But the fact is that most ordinary people in the West cannot understand the intricacies of the internal political organization of our country, and take the actions of the government as the national peculiarities of the Russian people. In addition, every nation deserves its own government. Wasn't it the people who decided in the last election who will be our next president. And so, do you think that the people have once again made the right choice? Does it not seem to you that our people are like an obedient herd, what they are offered is what they eat?

tara:

Did you drive yourself?
Yes I have, but you don't have to poke your finger in the socket to know that electricity kills. I think only a hermit in the taiga doesn't face the everyday rudeness of the people around him. But you are not a hermit, are you?

Mathemat:

So who is really at the top of the list?

And the source, like all such polls, is not particularly trustworthy. So your " everyone knows about the Russian tourists" is not very substantiated.

The title of the article corresponds to the data in the table, with the Russians in first place for rudeness. As far as credibility is concerned, any information can be questioned, but there is no smoke without fire. If it is written that Americans are the fattest, here you will probably willingly believe, as this information does not hurt your patriotic feelings.

Roll:

Where's the humour?

It's good to have sultanas in a loaf, but don't eat bread made from sultanas alone).

A loaf of bread spoils a bag of sultanas.

You can also search the internet - there are plenty of rankings on freedom of speech, corruption, economy, etc. For you, Russia may still be number one in the world in terms of suicide, child mortality, etc. The main thing is to seek and find, and may everything be in your faith :-).
PS/ In fact do not be embarrassed by your strange views - among people with the same world outlook as yours it is considered advanced to consider the Russians as the cattle.

khorosh:

How can one not fear and trust a country, where human life was not worth a penny, where even such words as "human rights" were not heard of, and where tens of millions of people were kept as cattle in a gulag. A country whose representative to the United Nations declares to the whole world that there are no military personnel in Cuba and at the same time intermediate range missiles are in full swing. A country that throws tanks into Hungary and Czechoslovakia in order to suppress timid attempts at liberalisation. There are plenty of examples from history. And it is well known about Russian tourists that they are the rudest.

Tanks in Czechoslovakia, missiles in Cuba... What year do you live in? These are different times, different ways of fighting on the world stage. And stop bullshitting the USSR, Russia and the people. You get the impression that they are so good, democratic, honest in the West, while we are not only a piece of shit, but we are also disturbing the good ones' lives.

People were not born today, they study history in schools and draw conclusions, there is no getting away from the facts. Poland will never forget the shooting of its officers in Russia. Contemporary Russians, if they are not ignorant ignoramuses, will never forget their ancestors who perished innocently in the Gulag camps. And no matter how good we are now, the public opinion of Russia which was formed in the 20th century will be difficult to change for a long time to come. The process is exacerbated by the nefarious dealings of the modern mafia and corruption at the top of the government, as well as the rudeness of our tourists abroad.
