Not looking for investors or trying to sell an expert :) just interested in opinions - page 8

No, it's not very interesting: it's a very jagged curve of profits vs. time. It's not good, especially if the "flat equity" lasts for years...

Post the advisor - we'll analyse it.

Corwin_Volot, don't be tempted by million dollar profits on a variable lot, they cloud the mind. Show me the report at 0.1 lot, with one order opened at a time.

If I have understood correctly, the report shows that only one order is opened and the second one is not opened until the first one closes and the start lot 0.1. In all my reports, the Expert Advisor decides by itself when it may increase the lot size.

But if you forbid the EA to change the lot size and fix it to 0.1, then you get like this:
so the picture is the same but the profits are smaller and less smooth.
Hence, the conclusion if the lot does not change and everything works, then it is not very similar to Martingale:) not even close :)

Figar0:

To Corwin_Volot: Unfortunately, not everything is as simple in real trading as in the tester with the optimizer.

I don't just agree with you, I'm sure it's not that simple, that's why I'm asking old timers what's going on
"The optimizer in the tester - what does it mean when you check the "optimization" ? i didn't check it :( or i got it wrong ?

Why is it not good? I don't think net profits are good or bad, they are present or absent, small or large :)

Integer:
This is a constant lot chart))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
And without Martingale!!!

Sorry, I am still confused by the terms you mean lot and I mean order :) but now I have posted a bit higher with a dynamic and static lot

Three waves a-b-c - it looks like a correction before a downward trend ;-)
