Forex dealers to stop operating in Russia after the New Year - page 4

The taxpayer is responsible for paying his or her own taxes. For example, freelancers fill out FormW-8BEN. For non-US residents.

What is the case with firm N registered in some offshore islands? Is there any form I should fill out similar to this one? )) Or we could just send them all to the three known letters? )) You get a card once every couple of months, withdraw money without showing up at certain ATMs and that's it - I'm not me... No one forbids me to register with a foreign firm... Exactly as it does not oblige these firms to register with us, of course, if they do not open their offices here, which, by the way, in recent years is not uncommon - they at every step - continuous representation ...

a company registered offshore pays taxes offshore. These taxes, of course, are considerably lower than those in Russia, for example. In some offshore companies pay a fixed tax at all, which does not depend on the company's turnover.

As usual, power is in the hands of the corrupt. They deal with each other without our involvement, because control, laws and courts are in their hands. Hence, dance from there!

Indeed, how to interpret when a company is not registered in the RF and there are call centres in the RF?

Indeed, how should one interpret when a company is not registered in Russia and there are call centres in Russia?
You have to find out who these call centres are; if they are just agents who act under a power of attorney in the interests of a foreign company and perform obligations to answer calls, then this does not constitute representation.

Alexey Volchanskiy:

In principle, yes, Genesis was involved in high-tech developments. For example, at our branch in St. Petersburg, the circuit designers did the hardware design of the Display Port, which at that time was still unknown to anyone, the design of chips for TVs and displays. I remember that at first I was amazed that Russia had any specialists at all in designing modern chips in a non-military field.

The firm developed the world's first single-chip digital television, which at the time (2006) no one else could do. Then the big players like Samsung and others produced them. Incidentally, after cooperating with Samsung none of our team members bought Samsyng's products.)

Then the crisis struck and the company was bought by the STMicroelectronics monster for its patents and shut everything down. I got nostalgic )).

Time takes its toll and it is good that there is something to remember!

Imagine having to spend your whole life in front of a screen alone...

And how to find out. Asking them is questionable.

Even if the contract has details of an offshore company? Generally, the contract is with a company, not a representative office.

There is no role for call centres, representative offices and other bullshit.

The main and most important role is to whom do clients transfer money?

Clients have to transfer money to a Russian company, and it has to pay taxes to the Russian budget: that's what it's all about. This is the only factor, not call centres, representative offices or any other nonsense.
