Discussion of article "How to Prepare a Trading Account for Migration to Virtual Hosting" - page 19

Karputov Vladimir:

There are many reasons. Maybe the EA uses a dll call - and the hosting does not allow dlls.

All information is available. In a virtual terminal, as in a regular terminal, the time of the trading server to which this terminal connects.

In general, there is no dll call.

Is it possible to watch the work of the Expert Advisor somewhere?

Like a log of actions

negatin:

Actually, there is no dll call.

Is there any way to see how the EA works?

As a log of actions

You can request the log ofterminal and Expert Advisors.

After registration VPS do you see this message?

On the one hand, it is very convenient that you can access VPS features in the terminal itself. On the other hand, it is extremely inconvenient that synchronisation is one-way (although I am speaking here as an expert in virtual servers), and that it is impossible to enter the virtual terminal and visually evaluate the work of the Expert Advisor.

  1. Virtual hosting (synchronisation of Expert Advisors, indicators, signals) is available only from 64bit terminals.
  2. For more convenience, create a separate template (for example, your_name_hosting.tpl). Let this template contain prepared charts with Expert Advisors. In this case you will not get confused, what and where and with what settings was synchronised with virtual hosting.
  3. And so yes, there is no reverse synchronisation.
