Thank you Sergey. So the SSD change would use one new activation.
But what about copying the virtual machine to another PC and starting it there?
I don't know if the hardware in the virtual machine stays the same although the host machine has changed?

if "...to another PC" is the other hardware using so - yes, it will use the other activation.
You do not use the activation in case of MQL5 VPS using (but this VPS is having some limitations concerning dll for example).

There is some term in the Market Rules: equipment configuration:
12. The fact of creation of a secure version of the Product for the Buyer's equipment configuration is called Activation.
I think that it means about everything.

This sentence is not very clear in my opinion.
I assume I will find it out once I have copied my virtual machine to the laptop.
I will report then what has happened.

Hello,
I am on linux and have a virtual machine with windows on it where I run MT5 with an EA which has 10 activations.
When I copy this virtual machine to my notebook and run it there, is a new activation used?
What if I replace the SSD with the OS on my linux machine and run the virtual machine again (only SSD was replaced), is a new activation used?
Thank you very much in advance.
Cheers Daniel
