Login to MQL community via MetaTrader 4

Have anybody experienced difficulties when trying to login to MQL community via MetaTrader and if so did anyone manage to solve that problem? I use MetaTrader4 and i cannot login to MQL. It tells me that either my login or my password is incorrect. I can login via any web browser with no problem whatsoever, but MetaTrader refuses to log me in. I tried several times to contact support with the issue with no result and no response. That’s ridiculous. 

Can anyone help?

I'm having issues with mt4 logging into my mql5 account. tried changing password to less than 10 and no upper case, tools-community login. i used my username aintmsbhvn7, i can log on fine in the browser but cant in mt4. i have build #1401, vps is windows server 2019 datacenter, pc is windows 10 pro. I'm having issues on 2 vps servers and also my pc. i did factory reset on my pc and that at least got me so that mql5 website isnt showing up in error. i unchecked all the binding to ip address, deleted files under metaquotes-terminal-community. Did all the windows updates.... I'm running out of things to try. I'm going on 20 hours trying to just get on this website without error and log into my mql5 on mt4. I've contacted microsoft, vps company and my internet provider because i was getting dns issues on mql5 website, but once i did factory reset i can get on website. Please help

According to google:
"Error "12029" is a WinHTTP error code that indicates that a socket connection failed because encrypted communication could not be established".

And it is some decision from Microsoft about how to fix it:

To resolve this problem, enable TLS 1.2 support on Windows 7. To do this, follow the guidance in the following Knowledge Base article, and then, restart the computer:
Update to enable TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 as default secure protocols in WinHTTP in Windows

I just realised that you are using Windows Server 2019 and maybe that is the problem. Many terminal functions use Microsoft Edge WebView2 to be able to display HTML content.

Full support for WebView2 was introduced in Windows 10. We strongly recommend that all users upgrade to the latest operating system version and install all available updates. Before making a clean install, I tried to install  Microsoft Edge WebView2, and immediately worked

That is the explanation, the new reports module uses this technology and that technology is not included in the  Windows Server 2019.

So,  is mandatory to install it,

i have added that setup file to my "Post updates" folder of my windoze usb sticks. Thanks for the link and detail summary.

ok this might be a stupid question but how do i update mt4 if i download from the broker website and when you go to help it only shows mt5 updates.
