Discussion of article "Practical application of neural networks in trading" - page 3

The topic is interesting. But it is a pity that there is no code that you can "touch". 1 small file with code is more expensive than several video clips...

The author uses some original techniques, but there is no way to understand the essence of these techniques due to the unimaginable confusion in the presentation and the complete absence of sane terminology of both trading and machine learning. What is fed where? What is predicted? How is it tested? How is the data prepared? Where are the buck and forward periods? Where are the training, validation, and test sections? I advise you to concern yourself with solving these questions and reading enough sane texts on the topic, it may help.

All true... However, once again I would like to note that the article is of an introductory nature and gives only a general direction. Particularities such as "What is fed where? What is predicted? How is it checked? How is the data prepared? Where are the periods of the running back and forward? Where are the areas of training, validation and testing?" concern specific trading systems and the range of questions that need to be addressed here is much wider. But I have long been concerned about these questions and solved them. In the next article I will probably give everyone an opportunity to try this variant of the trading system in practice.

Andrey good afternoon. Interested in co-operation in this area - can we chat on the phone?
Andrey Dibrov:
The article is of a rather generalised introductory nature. I didn't want to write about it yet, but I realised that I have to. At this stage, I am preparing, let's say, a "mini constructor", which will include fully trained neural network modules for several currency pairs and an Expert Advisor skeleton. All this will be working without any demos and free of charge. If it will be interesting to someone, will help to improve the system both in terms of training neural networks and trading robot - I am ready to share my developments in terms of cooperation.

Good afternoon. And about what you say that will be available NS and free of charge, if it is ready I would like to test this product, and if not ready can you approximately say when it will be available.

Hi!

Is there any community about this topic?

I want to take part in this project.

Great Article, <Deleted> , Or create a EA that can easily sell on the market, in addition to a live account monitoring.

Hi,

I am not finding the following attachments.

  1. MyAppInstaller_mcr.exe — installation file.
  2. EURUSD_MT5.exe — the neural network module itself.
  3. EURUSD_MT5var.exe — a variant of the Neural Network Module.
  4. net1-net6.mat — neural networks of three subnets, Net1-Net3. To be used as an example of their training and testing.

  5. Please send me.

    Thanks.
