MT 5 Funtions?

Hello everyone. I am new to this and just downloaded and installed MetaTrader 5. All looks good so far, at least with respect to FOREX. My understanding is that MT 5 was to include FOREX, futures, and equities. If so, I haven't been able to find how to reach those types of products for research and trading. Can anyone please help me? Many thanks in advance!
 

Symbols (FOREX, futures, bonds, equities, more) are related to the broker.
Some broker proposes forex symbols only for trading, the other brokers proposes oil and more.
So, it is brokers' related situation.

Find a Server by the Broker's Name:

 
  1. Metaquotes is not a broker.
  2. You can only trade what your broker allows.
              Market Watch → Right Click → Show All.
              View (Alt+V) → Symbols (Control+U) → Double Click to add.
  3. Is MQL only for Forex? - General - MQL5 programming forum FX, metals, binary options, bit coin. MT4 doesn't allow trading shares, options and futures. MT5 does.
  4. Discussion about specific brokers is prohibited on the forum. You have to do your own research and due diligence.

    Some demo accounts have limited duration with some brokers. Some expire after some lack of use with others.
