Signal copy works inconsistently

Hello,

I am copying a friend of mine

I am also using a rented VPS from mql5

I configured the signal copying to use up to 95% of my deposit

My capital is 3.1 times larger than his

My equity is 2.95 times larger than his (I also have some opened positions of my own)

Problem:

He opened a volume 0.03, and on my account there was a 0.6 position opened.

It should have opened a 0.08 or 0.09 position on my account

Why is this happening ???

The question about deal volume (or lot size) was asked many times so I am just providing the links with replies now -

The lot size when copying a signal has to do with the copying ratio calculated by MQL5 signal copying system, based on balances, currencies and leverages of both accounts (signal provider and subscriber).

So check your copying ratio in your MQL5 VPS (right click) >> Journals and see how much it is.

1.

Both our accounts have the same leverage - 1:30

Up until now, there was 1:2.9 ratio between my provider's volumes and my own volumes.

Now, all of a sudden that ratio went to 1:2 (at least lower than 1: 2.33)

Why is this happening.

2. In VPS journals, what should I look after in order to see what my copying ratio is ?

Best Regards,

Dan

Only the copying ratio will answer that and you can find it in your MQL5 VPS Journals.

Check where the last synchronization with the signal was made.

Everything has a reason, nothing just happens.
