MT5 platform won't startup after installing the Windows 10 Spring Creators Update

Hi Service Desk,

Critical problem with the MT5 platform not starting up after installing the Windows 10 Spring Creators Update. I tried starting the MT5 platform using Windows 8 compatibility, but still nothing happens. I can't even see the Metatrader program running in the Task Manager.

This is a very serious when the Windows update has been available for testing in the Windows Insider Program for some time. Please resolve this ASAP.

Thank you,

Jamie

  • There is small thread about it on rus part of the forum - this thread and
  • the thread here on eng part of the forum - this thread

Both threads are having similar suggestions about what to do.
But they on rus threads are suggesting that you (or anyone) can change exe files of installed MT5 to the files from 1809 build (which someone uploaded here https://drive.google.com/open?id=1QKjK8K93YceG1b6rRjqCfVuGj__09DNq )

Besides, MetaQuotes replied (on rus thread) that new builds will be released soon for MT4 and MT5 to be compatible with the Windows 10 Spring Creators Update.
