Strategy to EA - teach me

I tried to keep the subject short

I have been trading profitable for 3 years with account management for clients for the past 18 months. I am now interested in turning my scalping strategy into an EA and I already know what I want but I'm a completely rookie when it comes to coding. So I'm lookin' for someone who is an expert and has the time on his hand to help and teach me just a few things that I need to get started I have been through mql4 book but I want something more directly towards my goals. I prefer someone who also is a full-time trader as well but not a must.

Will they be able to teach in programming cause the whole purpose is I don't wanna share the strategy with anyone I want to keep it private that's why I wanna learn some of the essentials to coding

You can ask them.

Just write down what you want.

It would be very helpful if you specify what's your experience in programming as well (not necessarily in mql, I see "completely rookie" - is programming Greek for you?). Existing or missing background can affect learning curve and teaching price significantly.

If you don't know any coding, then you will not be able to learn enough to code your own EA properly, in just a few days or weeks, not even months! It takes years to reach a professional level of coding.

You will have to trust someone at some-point and have them code it for you, but those that offer you cheap prices for development are not not the most proficient coders, and those that are good coders are not cheap.

So you are facing a difficult choice - either you invest time (long term) in your coding education, or you invest money and have it coded by a good professional coder (but you will have to do your research and filter out all the bad coders from the list).

EDIT: By the way, paying someone to tutor you properly, is also not cheap!

yeah that's the dilemma but again I spent 3 years on building a tracking record I don't mind to throw in 2 more years just to learn mql4 language I mean I'm not expecting to become a professional coder overnight. It would be great if there was someone who could direct me in the right direction and help a bit as well etc. someone with experience in coding EA and know his forex

Well, if you have the time and also some money, invest in a tutor! Alternatively, look to some books to get your started (be it in MQL4 or MQL5):

Don't forget to look on Youtube...

Also, it's an art.

A one on one copy or literal translation of your strategy into code will not work like you have in mind.

You have to introduce other elements up to the point where the code does not resemble the strategy anymore, but the EA does what you want it to do, or what it needs to do.

There is a service called fxdreema which i use , the only way for me to make expert advisors since im not a coder.

I was a former forex-tsd member and when that site got bought i knew that i had to do something to improve my knowledge and understanding by myself to keep evolving in this business, because without mladen and mr tools's help i would get stuck.

So instead of giving up i found that site and i have made expert advisors ever since.

If you want to try it out i can help you , or if you want me to do the work for you , just write :)
