Trades on exotic pairs are not common or the main way the system makes profit! What should I do guys if I see a profit setting up on a pair like USDNOK would you prefer I don't trade it?

My results so far speak for them self: ROI over 9000% and a profit factor of over 4

Hi ES

I have edited/deleted my replies which are no longer relevant. I take your comments on board, maybe I will consider a modified version at some point with no hedging and only major pairs but some profit opportunities would be missed that way. How the NFA have acted recently with trying to reduce leverage and introducing the no-heding policy really is disgraceful they are doing everything they can to make it difficult for smaller traders as these rules don't apply to the big players like the banks

Backtest

Hi guys -

Backtest no longer relevant - am using a manual method now and not an EA

You have all of the characteristics of a great trader...keep up the good work...I really mean that...

I cannot trade your system with a USA dealer as your page says that you hedge occasionally...I am very sad...I believe that trading spot forex for USA residents is over and I will not break our laws or risk my capital overseas....I am very sad...indeed. Yes this is a bold statement I am making...but watch as this unfolds...The CFTC has already decided and they are just going through the motions to get it done...The days of leverage are over in the USA...

Alpari UK does not accept USA clients and I always prefer to use the dealer that the trader is broadcasting with.

Hi ES, thanks for that - I don't intend to be cocky but I do have confidence in my methods I have spent years and more time in front of charts than can be imagined until I got consistency like this. Sorry for any confustion from switching from an EA to manual trades, but how many EA's do you know which are consistently profitable? Not many hey.... Anyway I appreciate all the contributions you have made to this forum in general as I've seen many of your posts in the past.

By the way...I have voluntarily withdrawn my membership as a CTA in the NFA and my licensing as a broker with the CFTC...

I first support my opinions with my actions and then I follow through with public opinion.

Spot Forex is finished in the USA...Do not be in denial about this USA traders...

You see this depression the USA is in (yes DEPRESSION, not recession)...is blamed on leverage. So our Senate is not going to allow leverage...the USA futures market is next after Spot Forex (huge offender) is regulated OUT of the USA.

You will soon see that all of the reciprocating agreements with foreign countries for USA traders will be amended making it ILLEGAL for USA clients to trade overseas. The FSA already has this..Asia is next...And for those of you that want to throw away money on some island...well if your that stupid...you should lose it.

Wifey was correct...we here in the USA will see the worst brand of custom Socialism USA style...(she is from Sweden and lived during the days when Socialism and Nationalisations were introduced/shoved down the throats of Swedish occupants). Capitalism is dead in this world. We are marching forward to a "one-world economy" (my suggestion is to read the Bible for what is to come).

Bye Bye Forex I loved you soooo...

ES

Ok...back to this thread...please excuse the interruption...

Nice post ES, too bad it's all true

FXDD still allows hedging, for now.

FXCMUK has been trying to get me to fund an account over there too, so hopefully it's not the complete end of the world.

FXPRO was my favorite until they killed USA accounts

Thanks for the info...but can't the NFA just walk into FXDD and serve them with a cease and desist order and shut them down...It has been done before...isn't FXDD in New York or somewhere in the states?

Are you not scared of having all of your money held hostage?..to be later distributed in pieces?

As far as I knew USA brokers don't 'have' to be part of NFA, but could be wrong. NFA isn't a gov entity as far as I know, but a 'self'regulatory' entity. FXDD just barely got into NFA and operated for a long time without being a part of that scam. Also, I'm sure FXDD cleared their accounting methods as well. Even the crappy IBFX allows short term hedging and closes hedge trades at market close.

And yes, of course I worry about where I put my money, which is why most of it is by my side and not in the markets right now. I have seen nothing here to justify adding any money to any accounts either, a few do good for a while, then I join and they go crap, so I'm about done with this place too. No need to keep dropping 50 here/ 100 there, only to have them cost more than I paid(even when testing on dime accounts)

P.S. Don't all dealers in the USA need to be CFTC licensed and NFA registered?...what am I missing here? How does FXDD get away with it? Did they move?

How can they allow hedging!!!!

Is it intraday hedging like IBFX allows?

FXDD Obtains NFA Membership

New York, (December 11, 2009)

FXDD is pleased to announce its successful registration with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and its newly enacted status as an official member of National Futures Association (NFA). Going forward, FXDD will operate as a fully registered Forex Dealer Member (FDM) in accordance with the rules and regulations of CFTC and NFA.

“We have always focused on compliance and made sure we were up to speed on new changes in the applicable rules and regulations. Throughout the registration process we worked closely with the NFA and came to appreciate the hard work and effort the NFA staff puts in to manage a firm through the registration process. Needless to say, I am glad that we’ve finally obtained member status. This is a very important and long awaited moment in the life of our company,” said James E. Green, Chief Legal Counsel and Head of Compliance for FXDD.
