like fast zerolag tema 21 (price HA) , slow zerolag tema 144 (price TYPICAL) and signal as you wish

 

Fist this one : it is simplified zero lag tema that can use heiken ashi as input price too (always better to make all as functions, and now this one uses only functions in calculation - much easier to adapt to do any other job and bufers usage is reduced : from previous 8 buffers it used now it uses only 2, the rest are arrays)

Zero lag tema

And this is the zero lag tema with a "but" ...

"But" comes from the fact that this is a real zero lag tema for any price you use. In the "Heiken-ashi Zero lag tema" system of 2 zero lag tema values, when heiken ashi was used for a price field it calculated a "real" zero lag tema while if the price was any other price EMA was used (so an already EMA smoothed price) in calculation (hence such a big difference when you changed the price from heiken ashi to any other price)

This version has one additional parameter : Price pre smoothing. Default is 1 (no price pre smoothing) but if some other period is entered it will be first averaged and hen used in calculation (that goes for heiken ashi too - average heiken ashi will be used in that case). Price pre smoothing can be useful when you try to "iron out" the slope a bit to get a smoother result.

Changes of color on slope change added (nrp way - no repainting). On the example price pre smoothing 2 used

This a MACD that uses zero lag TEMA for calculation. Signal line is calculated as EMA. As far as colors of the macd line are concerned there are two possibilities : to color it on slope (when ColorOnSignalCross is set to false - upper macd on the example picture) or on signal line crosses (when ColorOnSignalCross is set to true - lower macd on the example picture). Default parameters are set to rather big values since the zero lag TEMA is a fast one - one should experiment with the parameters a bit in order to find the settings that suits the best the trading style one prefers

Why the both crossover ( fast-24 and slow-52 Tema cross with MACD 0 line ) does not match each others ?
