well of course it will have loses as well but the original system took almost no loses and is still 40% up in 3 days...

Don't worry about losses .Please carry on .

Remember we can always improve this EA of yours and restart the tests on a new account with improved EAS.

Nobody will look down at you because you are being honest and have worked on improving this EA. Most important thing is you have made your statements live and publicly available

Thanks for those encouraging words Oilfxpro - lets carry on watching the EA :-)

 

The system just took another large position and after 1 week equity is now at $14,970 - almost a 50% increase :-)

What it seems to be good at is only taking larger positions when conditions are most favourable. Although only time well tell for sure !

There was a pretty complicated NN EA posted way back by some French guy, which seemed to do pretty well on some pairs - this included the source. Personally, I view NN as the ultimate in curve-fitting. There is/was a trader from Australia who used to post in the Wealthlab forum ('brucev') who both used them in trading and was also doing a Masters on them - so he knew his s*it. Might make interesting (and sobering) reading...

I thought I was doing pretty good just remembering the post - no-one else seems to!

Having just spent a futile 5mins picking from EA's at random, I can say with some certainty that I don't remember what it was called...

If someone had a name, maybe I have the EA - catch 22 situation...

 

I guess it would be worth launching an other version that always trades the managemented-lot-sizes (accorded to margin, if possible).

As I see the "test-trades" are profitable in 90%: 27wins and 3losses.

Very promising EA! Congratulations.
