Trading Gold/USD - page 31

Let's go back to the situation shown in Figure 16. Calculated with these parameters: Deposit = 3000, LotSize = 100000, Lots = 0.1, TP = SL = (0.0030, 0.0040, 0.0050, 0.0060), Spread = 0.0002, p = 0.5, N = 250, Leverage = (3, 4 , 5, 6, 7, 10, 25, 50, 75, 100).

For better visibility of the results of the calculations are shown in logarithmic scale. Indeed, the reduction leads to an increase Leverage Margin% (black line) and, consequently, to increase the likelihood of collapse. It should be noted that the relationship between the probability of collapseand the credit leverage non-linear, and its greatest impact is felt in the region of small values of Leverage. Some reduce the negative effect of reducing Leverage can reduce the levels of TP and SL. However, it should be noted that at very small Leverage (in our case 4) the likelihood of failure still remain high. In addition, there is another feature that is shown on the picture below.

An asteroid with $20,000 billion in gold, platinum and other rare metals. Can you imagine what mining that would do to the value of gold? . Oh and that was $20 trillion at $250 per troy ounce, the current price is $929. Surely Nasa would be better sending people to this asteroid rather than Mars to look for microbes.

Stops should be placed at 953.8, 947.2 and 932.2, depending upon your confort level. These stops all have risks. Those whio got in at 925 are holding onto 40+ in gains now. Those who got it at 949 are sitting on about 18 pts. As of now, the best stops to using during regular hrs are the 947.2 stops. Overnight stops should be at 932.2 or 920, get way away from anybody stealing your stops.

Miners (GG, ABX, NEM) are moving upwards also, thats bullish for the metal. The miners usually leads the physical in all bull moves.

When charting, look at the regular trading hrs only, the overnight BS can confuse your chart analysis.

I do not see any sizable decline until it breaks over 1000, if this is wave (iii), and its a bull, these next couple of days could see spikes upward. I see a spike today and tomorrow. After a sizeable move, it should consolidate again, maybe around the 990-1010 area?

Also one note, today is exactly 1 year from when the dow dropped 500 pts and gold dropped over 40 pts 2/28/2007 in 1 day. Usually anniversary dates like these happen at another low, or high, or a turn point.

Adding to this, in all large moves, there is at some time a point called the inflection point. This point sticks out like sore thumb that separates the upper half of the move from the lower half. This pt at 955-960 could be an inflection pt. If that is the case, we should expect to another 150 pts before a sizeable correction occurs. Thats IF!

Always be on guard, because they can turn down anytime, and when that happens, you better get out of the way.
