Reinvent the wheels ?

I sometimes use lots of indicators on some charts mainly to monitor them and filter which is best and sometimes to test a strategy... here i will not use too many indicators I will keep it simple and when I use one I will put the original source and where i get the indicator from.

I found a very a good site by chance today, that will be a good start for new traders to read and see some of the parrterns I am using here

http://www.leavittbrothers.com/education/

what i will do is try to give some live examples, if I found another good site I will post it, babypips.com is another good site and this site has lots of forex books

MiniMe, thank you!

One of the best ways to see candles are Mouteki way of looking at it... I found the post sometimes late 2006, and I am not sure where was the orginal post, I think it on from forexfactory.com I will post only one power point file to show how easy this way of looking at candles, I don't depend on it on my trading but its a good training for the eye to see where the price is going

MiniMe: hello!

Iam following your thread since begining. thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge.

These lessons are very practical to follow, it's great! . Thank you!

Could you, kindly post your monthly trendline indicator here!

Thank you again!

Sincerely,

rswamy4449

lately I started changing some of the inicators I have, to avoid copy right problems and errors on the indicators siganls, you better download the orginal versoin form here

http://www.lightpatch.com/forex/ ( one of the best sources ) like for one indicator you will find 10 different versions, worth to play with some of them

the name of the indicators are

SHI_Channel.mq4

and

ang_autoch_h2

Or just make a search on forex-tsd.com and you will find them everywhere ... if you need an advice look for newdigital, and cudeguru threads they both have lots of good indicators or recomendations ... mostly I find what I look for on their threads.

MiniMe:
Amazing work from amazing member.

Thanks a lot I will try it for sure ;

Increase can you pls make a screen show and add comment on how to use the indicators !!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well I am only using it for the head and shoulder at the moment, so try it out and see.

increase:
Yes, great idea, in the meantime I will search for one, there should be one somewhere

I made an mtf out of this RSI, it shows head and shoulders pretty good on 4hr TF with no zoom

Perhaps somone could put an alert on this when the pattern forms, so you don't have to keep looking?

Files:
rsi-tc.mq4  6 kb

multi time frame for SHI_Channel?

Do you know if there is a way to code the SHI_Channel indicator to display the channels for multiple timeframes? For example, you would attach the inidicator to the M15 timeframe and it would draw channels for M15, H1, H4, and D1 timeframes.

edit:

looks like it is already here:
