Thanks for the quick update.

The error I was referring to was in the original HePHS. So I assume the same code was also in "HePHS-BuySellRatio.mq4".

I will see how the new one works.

 

I wasn't sure how AutoLot works so I set it to false. When I attach it to a chart with that setting it will not place a trade.

So I set AutoLot to true. It still won't place a trade.

 

OK .. download the ea above again

if it still dose not open any trade check the MagicNo of other floating orders

the ea will open hedge only if there is no any open order in the same MagicNo.

and if still no any order send out check journal tab to see the Error

then post here

I forgot to mention in the last post that I changed the MagicNo.

I did a quick test and here are the results so far.

When I set AutoLot to false it only opened a 0.30 lots E/U trade. It never opened G/U. So I detached the EA and closed the E/U trade. I don't see any errors in the journal for G/U. Just regular entries for the E/U trade.

Then I set AutoLot to true. It opened both sides.

However, it opened 0.21 lots G/U and 0.32 lots E/U. Maybe that is due to the AutoLot function. These are the AutoLot settings I have:

AutoLot: true

MMBase: 3

MaxRisk: 0.05

In Case Not AutoLot setting:

LotSize: 0.2

I hope that is enough info. Let me know if you need anything.

 

I was just reporting my results. The autolot function seemed to have worked correctly, although I didn't do the math to see if the lot sizes were correct.

The error seemed to be when setting AutoLot to false. It only placed one side of the trade.

I am using FXDD demo. Balance is around $9400 and the free margin at the time was probably around $8300.

I will try your new one.

False also worked for me on FXDD. I have not tried True yet.

I will assume I can take the "$_$" version and replace the "n_n" version on the same chart. I am getting a lot of open orders.

Thanks for your help and all your work on the EA. I will continue testing. I hope to eventually use it live.

since you got many errors .. then i tried attatching it on my chart

there's nothing wrong..hmm ..so let's talk about what the different between us:

-i try it on MetaQ server

-initial balance 10,000

-hmm what else should be discous?
